Edit PDF (Add Text, Signature & Images)
Add text, signatures, images, ticks and whiteout to any PDF, then download it
Your files are processed in your browser. They are never uploaded, and nothing is stored after you close the page. How we handle privacy
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.

How to Use
- Drop your PDF on the box or tap it to choose a file. The pages appear on screen; nothing is uploaded.
- Pick Text and tap where the text should start, then type. Change the font, size, colour, bold or italic from the bar above the pages.
- Tap Signature to draw it with your finger or mouse, type it in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature (the paper background is removed for you). Use Image for a photo, stamp or logo.
- Use Whiteout to cover a mistake, Highlight to mark text, and Tick, Cross or Dot for boxes on forms. Drag anything to move it, drag its blue corner to resize it, and use all pages to repeat it on every page.
- If the PDF has fillable fields, fill them in the list that appears above the pages.
- Tap Download PDF. You get a new file; your original stays as it was.
Edit a PDF without uploading it
Most "free PDF editors" send your file to their servers. This PDF editor doesn't. Your PDF is opened, edited and saved inside your browser, so bank forms, ID proofs, agreements and salary documents never leave your phone or computer. You can even switch off your internet after the page has loaded and it keeps working.
It's made for everyday jobs: filling in a form that isn't fillable, signing a letter or an offer, adding your name and date to a declaration, ticking boxes, putting a photo on an application, or covering a typo before you print.
What you can add
| Tool | What it does | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Text | Typed text in Sans, Serif, Mono or two handwriting styles, any size and colour, bold and italic | Names, addresses, amounts, dates on non-fillable forms |
| Signature | Draw, type in a signature font, or upload a photo with the paper removed | Letters, offer acceptance, declarations, rent agreements |
| Image | JPG or PNG photo, stamp or logo, resizable | Passport photo on an application, company stamp, logo |
| Whiteout | A white (or black) box over part of the page | Covering a mistake before writing over it |
| Highlight | See-through colour over text | Marking clauses for someone to read |
| Tick, cross, dot | Clean vector marks | Checkboxes and bubbles on forms |
| Date | Today's date in the format you choose (e.g. 15/10/2026) | "Date" lines on forms and letters |
Tips for neat results
- Zoom in before placing small text on a form line, then nudge it with the arrow keys (hold Shift for bigger steps) on a computer.
- Match the form's text size. Most printed forms use 9โ12 point text; 11 or 12 is a good start.
- For a signature from paper, sign in dark ink on plain white paper and photograph it in daylight, flat and without shadows. Then raise or lower the "background removal" slider until only the ink remains.
- Use "all pages" to put the same signature or initials at the bottom of every page of an agreement.
- Fillable forms: if the PDF already has fields, fill them in the list rather than typing on top. Keep "lock the filled fields" on when you will email or upload the form, so the answers can't be changed by accident.
Two things to know
Whiteout hides, it doesn't delete. The box covers the text when the page is viewed or printed, but the original words are still inside the file and can be copied out or found by search. To truly remove sensitive text (an account number, for example), print the PDF to a new PDF or to paper after editing, or use a dedicated redaction tool.
An image of your signature is not a digital signature. Under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the electronic signatures the law recognises are those made with a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or an approved eSign service such as Aadhaar eSign. Many offices, schools and companies accept a PDF with a signature image for routine forms and letters, but for legal, tax or court filings check what the receiver requires.
Languages and fonts
Typed text is saved as real, searchable text using open-licence Noto fonts that include the โน symbol. Text in Hindi, Gujarati and other Indian scripts is saved as a sharp image instead, because these scripts need font shaping that PDF files can't do on their own. It looks the same, but you can't select or search it in the PDF.
What this editor can't do
- Change the PDF's existing text in place (cover it with whiteout and type over it instead).
- Open password-protected PDFs. Remove the password first, for example by opening the file and using Print โ Save as PDF.
- Add a legally recognised digital signature (DSC or eSign).
